Architecture in Siouxland, Sioux City, Iowa

13 Jun

The City of Sioux City, Iowa, has some wonderful pieces of architecture in its downtown area, as well as other places in town. It offers a photographer very graphic images, angles and lines, and when shot at different times of the day are very beautiful, even if one photographs only bits and pieces of the buildings. The city was also graced by the architectural genius of  William Steele. He belonged to a group of architects known as the Prairie School where most of this work was done in the Midwest. Please enjoy.
