Web links involving photography and video for photojournalism

17 Jun

I’ve begun to add some web links to my blog that I view as often as I get the chance. Most of what I will add have relevance to photography or video, mostly concerning photojournalism, but ultimately in producing quality work. These are people and websites where one can draw inspiration and insight in how to improve your own work. They are worth a look. Joe McNally has been shooting a long time and is readily known for his work as well as his help in teaching other photographers how to improve themselves. He has published books and DVD’s that are worth checking out. David Hobby is also a former photojournalist whose blog and writings are educational and insightful and fun. The other two sites, Finding the Frame, shows work from newspaper photographers around the country who are doing video or other kinds of online work (soundslides) and a place to get feedback from other shooters in the business. The Bombay Flying Club is a collection of people from throughout the world many of whom have a unique vision that inspires one to push yourself to achieve your best. Please check them out and enjoy and be inspired.
