“Rock Rapids Volunteer Fire Dept., Artist: Ron Rodasti

Twenty-Second Mural

Since 1873, when the first meeting to establish a fire company was held, the Rock Rapids volunteer fire department members have given of their time and efforts to protect and save property and lives in their community.
This mural is dedicated to the past, present, and future volunteers of the fire department who selflessly dedicate themselves, without hesitation of personal safety, performing their duties for the preservation of their community and the surrounding rural area.”
