Winter snow

An older farm house sits abandoned in the Sioux County, Iowa, aea seen Feb. 3, 2014. Older farm steads dot the countryside while the surrounding acreage is still farmed. Another reminder that many of the small farmsteads that helped feed a hungry nation and supply work for families have and are disappearing from the landscape, only leaving reminders of another, faded era as the nation continues it progress toward the future.
