Days are numbered in Siouxland, Rural Plymouth County

4 Nov

I know the days are numbered for “nice” weather in Siouxland. I recently heard different local tv weather prognosticators talking about wintry weather mixes appearing soon. Too soon for my taste. It’s just barely fall and Thanksgiving hasn’t arrived yet. So I relish these remaining days, blustery though they might be to just enjoy some nice fall light as I watch it paint the countryside in direct yet a softer glow. And with a colder than normal winter forecast I’ll miss those warm, even hot summer days.

    Jerry,

Your beautiful photos show us a bit of the abundance of nature that we get to experience. Thank you.

      Becky,
No. Thank you for looking at my site and being so kind with your words. But it is true nature is more abundant in some places than others and I’m blessed to be in an agricultural state where most of the land is still somewhat natural. That is not farmed. Although people in Big Sky country or upstate New York might argue otherwise. Their states have some gorgeous scenery too.

Thank you for enjoying the work.
