Wacky Weather in Siouxland as Winter Leaves and Spring Enters, Sioux City

26 Mar

The recent weather in Siouxland has been generally wacky. Winter held on for much longer than most folk would like and spring just hasn’t been pushing hard enough to bring people relief. But sometimes for images resulting from Mother Nature’s mood swings create some different results.

I love the photos Jerry, although I’m not a huge fan of winter. Over here we have had the opposite, summer just keeps hanging on 🙂

      Lloyd,
Hey. Thanks. Winter is finally leaving us I think, at least the cold. The residual though, snow melt and more rain keeps local rivers swollen and flooding. There has been some bad flooding with local communities here, a worse effect than flooding in 2011 that set a record then.

Take care and hoping for a break in your drought situation.
