Recently I, and I am certain, many others received an email from the Henry Doorly Zoo informing patrons that the zoo is closing for the foreseeable future due to the coronavirus that is enveloping the country and world. There are some days at the zoo when attendance is overflowing almost. A good place to escape and enjoy oneself watching the animals, as terrible as that is when they themselves cannot take a day off and visit other places themselves.

And hopefully this microbe crisis will pass and again allow folk to get out and enjoy activities and other amenities that unfortunately, but prudently, need to end for the short term.
